For this reason, we follow the Spanish and European standard UNE-EN 1729 for schools, where the functional dimensions and safety requirements of school furniture are regulated in its first and second part. This regulation codes each size with a colour and a number. Sizes 0 and 1 are clearly sizes for first stage (nursery schools) .The rest of the sizes are those used for the rest of the educational stages. The most important measures for determining sizes are the total height of the students and the popliteal range.These have been determined on the basis of anthropometric and ergonomic studies, and the measures marked in the standard are the most appropriate for the adoption of good posture of the student, and less fatigue during use.
